This workshop will share stories of patient experiences and will engage participants in dialogue about pathways to improve patient care through food. Participants will use methodologies from human centred design to identify the value of food through the patient journey. They will learn about efforts underway through the Good Food Project to create a nation benchmark around patient food experience. Participants will leave this workshop with heightened empathy for patients and families, an enhanced ability to communicate why food in hospitals doesn't suck, and new perspectives on the value that food brings to care.
