What will we feed patients who come into the care of the Canadian health system in the year 2030?

Join us for the main culinary event of the Nourish Food for Health Symposium! The Hospital Food Experience from the Future will feature three competing teams providing our lunch - a three course meal from the year 2030.

Each team, made up of a celebrity chef, a healthcare executive and a food service leader, are challenged to create a delicious course that is patient-friendly, planet-friendly, and scale-friendly.

Each course will be judged by a taste panel made up of a physician, dietician, Indigenous elder, journalist and youth patient - and you!

How will demographic shifts, technological changes, awareness of planetary boundaries, and an empowered patient in the centre of their care all factor into what a nourishing and delicious hospital meal might be like in 2030? Find out all this and more at the Hospital Food Experience from the Future!
