Chef Simon Wiseman and CHEO have a vision. They want the food served by health-care organizations to be made with the passion, creativity, drive and quality of restaurants. Chef Wiseman brings these qualities to his work every day.

With more than 20 years of experience, Chef Wiseman has seen and done it all: fast food, dish pit, catering, pastry, take-home, fine dining, artisan bakery, health-care facilities, consultant, and cooking workshops and lessons.

A wilds forager and hobby farmer, Simon is passionate about the importance of local, small-scale production. He partners with nearby farmers to offer the highest quality possible to CHEO’s patients, staff and visitors.

Chef Wiseman is a graduate from L’institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) in Montreal.
