Hello, my name is Emma. I am Mohawk. My grandparents are from Ohsweken (Six Nations), and I grew up in London, Ontario. I currently live in Toronto, and am a student at Ryerson University. I am in the midwifery education program, and just finished a placement at Seventh Generation Midwives Toronto which is a midwifery clinic that aims to provide culturally safe maternity care to urban Indigenous women in the GTA.
