Beth Hunter leads the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation's Sustainable Food Systems Initiative as well as advancing its climate and energy work. She has spent twenty-five years working at the intersection of the environment, economics and social change, with a particular interest in food issues. She loves to seek (and sometime find...) levers for systems change, and to create spaces where people connect, learn and collaborate deeply. She is a co-founder of Equiterre, led Greenpeace Canada's Oceans campaign, holds an MSc in Rural Economics from Laval University (food security and dietary diversity) and sits on the Board of Directors of the Academy for Systemic Change and the Maple Leaf Centre for Action on Food Security
